We believe that as a church we should gather to read the Bible, discuss it, allow it to shape us and pray for each other too. We call these gatherings “Deeper”. A place where we can go deeper into our Bibles, deeper in relationship with each other, deeper into prayer and deeper in our relationships with God. Deeper Men

Deeper men is the men's group of Knottingley Community Church. We are a group of men who are committed to following Jesus. We meet together once a month, one month we have breakfast, the month after we meet in the evening. We look at the bible together, and figure out what it means to be a real man in this world. All men are welcome, whether you've known Jesus a few days, or many years. If you're interested, come along - We would love to meet you.

Deeper Women

Deeper Women happens monthly, alternating between Monday nights and Saturday mornings at the start of each month.

Our monthly gatherings came out of reading Philippians 4:8-9,

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

Through reading the Bible together we encourage one another in the things that are right, noble, pure and true, and then inspire each other to put these things into practice in our daily lives.

It is great to gather together as women to talk, pray and delve into the Bible, also eating a lot of cake or breakfast whilst we meet. It is a great opportunity to meet and talk with other women in the church that you would not normally connect with. As well as deepening our relationship with God these gatherings have helped to develop deeper relationships with one another.

We have anywhere between 10-20 women attending each gathering and it is open to all women who want to grow deeper with God and connect more with each other.
